Matrix

An intentional masterpiece. An invisible scaffold. An algorithmic matrix.

It’s everywhere. We don’t see it, we don’t care to see it. Tuning out is so easy because tuning in makes you queasy. You notice the dog in the park, the families with children, the people sitting alone. You wonder about their lives and then of your own. You start to spiral...is the dog happy in this world? Should those children be born in times of imminent doom? Do the people sitting alone know this, or do they have stories of their own? What is my story? Who am I in this world? Why am I here?

To avoid what makes us feel worse, we check out from our surroundings and lose ourselves in distractions, drowning in our dreadful, diluted pool of false realities. After some time though, you get sick of the water. This artificial pool is murky and it feels foggy. You can’t breathe anymore, so you dare and tune in:

Your head peaks out of the water, feeling the soft air hitting your cold hair. Your eyes, your nose, your mouth, and your neck all follow as you rise into true reality. You observe. Immediately, you gaze at the leaf carelessly falling off the tree while the light beam creaking off the side of the building sun-kisses your bare side cheek. You are revitalized, reflecting on the people in your life and the timing of your demise. You realize that your world is perfectly crafted to your potential, it’s all intended for maximizing You...are meant for individualized progression and your world signals to your subconscious, aiming to advance you.

Being zetetic is not the problem in this world, being complacent with your answers is. Existentially questioning your surroundings leads you to the beauties of your world. Will you let the beauties tarnish over time, or will you translate and make those beauties your own?

Description

This piece is about the world we live in.

For so long, we lead our lives as if it's us vs. the world. As if the world is set against us and we need to do our best to resile through the circumstances.

For so long, we ponder on the pressure being put on us, but we don't think about why that pressure is on us.

For so long, time feels so short, but every second is layered, meaning that the nuances of space-time are ever-present but ignored.

Every moment leads to another and every day is a product of the one before. So, if we pay attention to the layers of time, to the results of our thoughts, to the intentions of our world, then we can turn it into beauty.

This piece is about actively loving and living your world, your potential, and yourself.
